Piercing Laws in Texas

By scheduling an appointment and receiving a piercing at Seven Ink Tattoos LLC, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  1. Age Requirement:

    • Texas law prohibits body piercing on anyone under 18 without parental consent.

    • Minors (under 18) must have a parent or legal guardian present at the time of the piercing and provide valid government-issued identification for both the minor (birth certificate) and the guardian (State ID or Driver’s License).

    • Genital piercings and nipple piercings are strictly prohibited for minors, even with parental consent.

  2. Health & Safety:

    • We strictly follow all Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) regulations regarding sterilization, hygiene, and safety to ensure a clean and professional environment.

    • All equipment is single-use or properly sterilized before each procedure.

  3. Medical Conditions:

    • It is your responsibility to disclose any medical conditions (e.g., diabetes, hemophilia, skin conditions, allergies, pregnancy) that may affect the piercing process or healing.

    • If you have any concerns, consult with a healthcare professional before getting pierced.

  4. Consent & Release:

    • By receiving a piercing, you voluntarily assume all risks, including but not limited to allergic reactions, infections, rejection, or complications.

    • Seven Ink Tattoos LLC and its piercers are not responsible for any adverse effects resulting from your piercing.

  5. Aftercare Responsibility:

    • Proper aftercare is essential for healing. We provide aftercare instructions, and failure to follow them may result in complications.

    • The client is fully responsible for their piercing after leaving the shop.

  6. No Refunds:

    • All piercing sales are final. No refunds will be issued for completed services.

    • Jewelry changes or removals may incur additional charges.
